Theresa May has just emerge as the second female Britain Prime Minister after the resignation of David Cameron. This was confirmed following her traditional visit to the Queen Elizabeth (the Queen of England) to be invited to form a government.
Theresa May who has earlier served the former Prime Minister, David Cameron as home secretary for his six years tenure in government cleared her party’s leadership position when her opponent, Andrea Leadsom’s dropped out last week.
She is expected to make the first senior appointments to her government on Wednesday, July 13, including a minister for Brexit.
Theresa May has now appear as the second female prime minister after Margaret Thatcher. Cameron has earlier congratulated Theresa May on her new appointment as the British Prime Minister.
